i believe i'm coming down with a mild case of strep throat. oh dear, dear, dear. that is not good at all. is strep throat contagious??

i just got back from my date with peter. as you can image, i spent all day with butterflies in me tummy. i had first date jitters even though i've been on at least a gazillion dates with peter. it took me an hour to get ready and my heart sank into my stomach when i heard the doorbell ring at 5:00. I opened the door and it happened again. the thing that used to happen every time i caught sight of him. my heart lept and a smile crept across my face. it was as if i forgot everything bad that happened between us. he took my hand and everything spun. it was crazy how much you can still love someone even after they completely screw you over.

we had dinner at olive garden then went to see Pineapple Express. i had seen it before with jill but it was much more funny seeing it with peter. afterwards we walked around downtown, talking about everything. while downtown we came across simon and a darkhaired harlot pinned against a wall down a dark alley, devouring one another's face. so much for him. peter walked me back to my apartment and instead of kissing me goodnight he gave me a high five. it made me giggle. he's going to be down for the rest of the week and i'm pretty sure we'll be spending the majority of that time together. i hope so. i think.
